1. Imagine life without reading glasses

Do you want to look as young as you feel? Are you frustrated with your reading glasses?

Don't let reading glasses interrupt your active lifestyle. Learn how you can throw them away and reclaim your FREEDOM.

2. What Is Presbyopia?

Do you have difficulty reading fine print, have eyestrain when reading or struggle to focus on near objects? If so, you could have presbyopia, the normal age-related loss of the ability to focus on near objects. Eventually, this condition affects everyone. The most common solution for presbyopia is to use reading glasses, but many people find it a bothersome solution.

The Presbia Flexivue Microlens™ is a solution that may be more desirable for treating your presbyopia.

The Presbia Flexivue Microlens™

  • Enables a full range of clear vision at multiple distances: far, intermediate, and near
  • Allows you to perform most everyday near tasks with reduced or no dependence on glasses
  • Provides binocular vision
  • Typically performed in the non-dominant eye

3. The Solution

The Presbia Flexivue Microlens™ is a fast, safe, and painless procedure, that may significantly improve your near vision.

The Presbia Flexivue Microlens™ is a tiny lens, only 3 mm in diameter and about 15 microns thick (one-fourth the thickness of a single human hair) that is placed in the cornea of your eye for the correction of presbyopia. The procedure is done in less than ten minutes.

4. The Procedure

Step One
A pocket is created in the cornea of your eye using a femtosecond laser – the same laser used in millions of laser eye procedures worldwide.

Step Two
The Microlens is inserted into the pocket.

Step Three
The pocket seals itself, holding the Microlens in place.

5. Do I Qualify?

The vast majority of people who need reading glasses are potential candidates for the procedure. You may qualify if you:

  • Use reading glasses
  • Use bifocal or multifocal glasses
  • Have had surgery for distance vision (Lasik) but now need reading glasses

You may not be suitable if you:

  • Have certain conditions of the eye such as corneal defect, astigmatism, or glaucoma
  • Had a serious eye injury
  • Have an auto immune disorder

Your eye care professional will be able to advise you as to the ideal treatment for your needs

I’m ready to get rid of my reading glasses, where do I go?
